The primary goal of the SFA STEM Research and Learning Center is to increase STEM research capacity at the university. This goal includes a commitment to interdisciplinary studies as well as traditional research within STEM disciplines. In addition, the Center encourages research in the areas of Science and Mathematics Education. Undergraduate research is also vitally important to the success of the initiative to heighten STEM awareness and interest in our student body and among university non-STEM faculty.
